The Trichino Bridge is located southwest of the medieval castle and connects the banks of the Xiria stream that crosses the gorge of Krya. Its construction dates back to the early Ottoman period during the 15th century.

The bridge consists of a central thin arch and two arched spans (the western one is Islamic, pointed type). Waterworks were found that ensured the supply of water to the castle. The aqueduct bridge connects the two sides of the gorge and a water channel passes over it. A network of clay pipes, supported by retaining walls, ensured the necessary inclination for the steady flow of water to the Castle`s reservoir.

The dimensions of the Trichinο Bridge are as follows: the arch span is 22,50 m, the width 8,10 m, the height 4 m, the thickness 1,90 m. The main building material used for its construction is local blue limestone.

The Trichino Bridge has recently been fully restored from the wear and tear of time and weather conditions after extensive repair work on the monument.

Access to the bridge is possible from Krya by small paths through the gorge or from Agios Panteleimon.
