In the Traditional Village of Elikonas operates the Museum of Agricultural Heritage. It hosts a number of exhibits of folk tradition, articles of daily use, a small library and the collection of Mr. Mitsos and Mr. Skourletis.

The Association of Elikonians of the Livadeia district, which is responsible for the operation of the Museum, has developed an educational program for primary, secondary and high school children, to introduce them to the cycle of bread, from the grain to the table. Children are introduced to the different stages of wheat cultivation and learn in an experiential way the traditional bread production process, from milling to dough.

Children discover the ingredients needed to make bread, make their own dough, knead it, fire up the traditional wood oven and bake their own bread, as well as village cheese pies and cheese bread. The children also come into contact with authentic traditional tools and utensils such as the plough, the ploughshare, the traditional pitchfork, the harrow, the sickle, the sieve and the wooden dough bowl. In the interim period, until the bread is baked, myths of Greek mythology and relevant stories about the cultivation and importance of grains from the ancient times are presented.

Local customs, traditions and traditions about the cultivation of wheat and the importance of bread in important events in the lives of our ancestors, such as bread for marriage, baptism and other social and religious occasions and celebrations, are presented. Traditional songs sung at sowing, reaping, threshing and proverbs are also presented. Particular reference is made to the traditional mills of the area and the millers.
