The Monastery of Agia Paraskevi is located near the village of Agia Paraskevi on a green slope of Mount Elikonas, at an altitude of 350m. In the monastery is preserved the cross-shaped chapel with a dome of Agia Paraskevi, which was built in 1050, The small chapel believed to be the cemetery chapel of the old monastery. The monastery was completely destroyed by the Turks who burned it and massacred all the monks. Many remains were found which probably date back to the 15th-16th century.

Exceptional Byzantine frescoes of 1438 were found in the church. In Agia Paraskevi, sacred relics of Saint Philothei of Athens, Saint Panteleimon, Saint Charalambos and Saint Paraskevi are exposed for pilgrimage. The sisters are engaged in hagiography and gold embroidery and operate a related exhibition. The monastery operates as a female convent and celebrates on 26 of July. Abbess: Nun Agathi.
