The traditional Village of Elikonas, formerly known as Zeriki, is the highest village of the mountain range of Mount Helicon, built at an altitude of 850 m. on a small plateau probably in the 14th century by Arvanites. The area is considered to be of natural beauty.

The plateau is cultivated and produces excellent quality pulses, except in winter when water accumulates, creating a small lake that often freezes. The whole area is surrounded by dense spruce forest. A short distance from the village is the organised camping center of Paliomilia.
