The New Monastery of Saint Dionysius of Olympus, Litochoro

The existing Holy Monastery of Saint Dionysius is located just 3km from Litochoro and is a glebe of the Old Monastery. The Monastery monks relocated there following its destruction in 1950. Today the glebe is house to a community of monks, who adhere to the regulations set by Mount Athos, according to the Saint’s will. Saint Kori (Agia Kori), Vrontou

The chapel of Agia Kori is located at the feet of Olympus in the north, 6km. west from the village of Vrontou in a canyon. The Greek Evangelical Church of Katerini

A beautiful Church, unique of its kind in Greece, was designed by Greek refugees from Pontos in 1923, believers of the evangelical dogma. At the heart of the neighbourhood lies the impressive Evangelical Church, built in 1925, which was restored in 1931 following the 1930 fire by arsonists, religious fanatics.
