The Holy Church of Saint Georgios is located on the eastern side of Kolindros.

It is three-aisled basilica, with a wooden roof without a narthex built in the mid-18^th century. It was the Cathedral under the Kitros Diocese and is considered the oldest of all Churches in Kolindros based on statements from travelers and expert archaeologists.

The Church is house to a wide selection of icons, manuscripts, rare heirlooms and small artworks dating to the 14^thcentury. What makes it special is the rare wooden winged altarpiece with deep reliefs (wall-mounted sculptures).
