The Holy Monastery of Saint Georgios is located 1km away from Korinos and 700m away from the sea.

It dates to the mid-16^th century. It is one of the oldest Monasteries in Pieria and is a Metochi (glebe) of the Holy Monastery of Saint Dionysius of Olympus.

The Monastery supported the Greek refugees who arrived in the area following the 1922 Asia Minor Catastrophe and the residents of the area of Korinos throughout the years of suffering under the German and Bulgarian occupation.

The Church is a one-aisled basilica without a dome. On the right side, we see the chapel of Saint Fanourios and on the left side, the chapel of Saint Nektarios.
