Old Vria is located in a flat area at the foot of the Pierian mountains, near the new village and close to the ancient marble quarry with a wonderful forest road and many climbing paths towards the Pierian mountain tops.

The picturesque church of Saint Nikolaos is also located there.

The area is 17km. away from Katerini, easily accessed by the national highway of Katerini-Elassona (Vria junction – on the 13^th kilometer).
