The existing Holy Monastery of Saint Dionysius is located just 3km from Litochoro and is a glebe of the Old Monastery. The Monastery monks relocated there following its destruction in 1950.

Today the glebe is house to a community of monks, who adhere to the regulations set by Mount Athos, according to the Saint’s will. The Monastery monks engage in various ministries, such as iconography, making incense, making cheese, beekeeping, making candles, gardening, carpentry, bookbinding, etc.  

An equipped Library with valuable prints and a study hall can be found on the inside of the Monastery.

A Sacristy (Museum) houses religious heirlooms of great artistic and historical value as well as relics of Saints, which are open to the public.

The Holy Monastery is celebrated on the 23^rd of January, on the same day of the celebration of Saint Dionysius of Olympus.

The Monastery is open from sunrise till sunset, apart from 13.00pm. to 15.30pm.
